In southern Africa, the term Sangoma is used to describe an intermediary for the ancestors, the wanderer between the worlds, the practitioner of herbal medicine, the shamans and sacred spirits and for some, a feared witch doctor. The aim of Sangoma Records is to release psychedelic music without any stubborn stylistic definitions or boundaries. It is music made by both unique new talents and established artists who don’t follow trends and instead deliver something new and outside the box.

Daksinamurti (दक्षिणामूर्ति) is a psychedelic trance artist and Ethnologist from Marburg, Germany. Besides DJ’ing for over a decade, Till is managing the world renowned labels Sangoma and Timecode Records, and has been performing with his Live act Android Spirit.
In his youth he fell in love with psychedelic music from the 1960’s, World Music and Reggae. End of the 90’s he discovered what was called “Goa trance” on the beaches and jungle parties in India, and was fascinated by the music’s driving beats, and hypnotic melodies vibrating in the air. He soon started to listen and collect tons of music, and hasn’t stopped since - developing a diverse taste for mind-bending music and studying its effects on minds, and bodies. Daksi is constantly on the quest to find new and exciting psychedelic music to release on the labels Sangoma and Timecode, which he runs with his label partner Emiel (Gata Freak) from Qatar.

Kabayun is the project of David Mostoller, a psytrance producer originally from the United States. After spending years honing his sound, performing around the USA, and organizing parties in New York City, David has spent the last year continuously touring the globe, including performances this summer at Tangra, Spirit Base, Summer Never Ends, MoDem, and Blackmoon festivals. A featured artist on Looney Moon Records, David will continue to travel the world, splitting his time between Goa in the winter months, and Europe in the summer. He is available for bookings worldwide.
Kabayun’s music intends to create an environment that stimulates the listener to release themselves from the trials of everyday life and confront their challenges through the trance dance experience. Channeling the spirit of the west, Kabayun pulls together many elements to create an intensely psychedelic experience that lifts the body and the mind to undiscovered plateaus….
