Just
back from another sell-out speaking tour in the USA, Eva will give a talk about
her life including; her two years spent with her family being hidden from the
Nazis by the Dutch Resistance, their betrayal and arrest by the Gestapo on her
fifteenth birthday, how her wits and mothers love kept her alive in ‘hell on
earth’ Auschwitz concentration camp (her father and brothers sadly died there),
her time with Anne Frank as a friend before the war, her mother’s post-war
marriage to Anne Frank’s stepfather, Otto, how she re-built a new life after
the war and the inside story of the famous diary and its inspiring legacy
through generations. She was recently awarded an MBE through her work in
schools teaching the importance of tolerance and love.
