Tai Chi strengthens our internal energy & allows it to flow more freely. It calms the mind & body, increases alertness and body awareness, and helps develop concentration & deep relaxation.
Tai Chi is recommended as a rehabilitation programme for back problems by health specialists such as physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths.
All levels and abilities welcome, though this class is best suited for beginners with no little or no experience of Tai Chi.
A full colour book, Tai Chi by Paul Tucker (Anness Publishing), covering the warm-up exercises and the whole of the Short Form, is now out of print, though may be available via eBay etc.
