60th Anniversary Concert

Epworth Choir will be holding a concert to celebrate its 60th Anniversary, joined once more by Epworth Brass and the soloist Samuel Pantcheff.  

The programme will include: 5 Mystical Songs by Vaughan Williams; Gloria by Chilcott and the World Premiere of Air and Angels by Ian Assersohn.  The last piece has been commissioned by the choir to mark its 60thanniversary.

For this concert, the choir will be raising funds for Surrey Young Carers, which is part of Action for Carers Surrey.  Young carers are children or young people under the age of 18, who provide regular care and emotional support to a family member who is physically or mentally ill, disabled or misuses substances. Surrey Young Carers support young carers in many ways including providing advice, guidance and information and someone to talk to.
