St Georges' Day Supper - April

This is the inaugural year of the St Georges’ Day Supper at the Victory Services Club, London and is raising funds to directly increase the number of Kidney Cancer UK Health Professional Nurses working within communities across the country.

A Kidney Cancer UK Health Professional works in and with the community, visiting hospitals and cancer units across the country, offering support to newly diagnosed patients having on-going treatment, their families while promoting the services offered by the Charity to Clinical Nurse Specialists, Oncologists, Psychologists and support workers. The Kidney Cancer UK Health Professional also reaches out to the policy makers; N.I.C.E, the SMC and the Welsh Assembly. Whenever a new drug recommendation is considered by these bodies The Kidney Cancer UK Health Professional will attend the reviews with a patient to offer representation for approval. This is a role which cuts to the core of kidney cancer patient care and support and your help will be gratefully received.

If you would like to join us on the 23rd April, tickets are £60 per person. This includes a drink on arrival, a three-course meal with wine and musical entertainment during the evening.
