Grease Lightning! 40th Anniversary

Start your engines and get ready to do the jive as we bring you Grease Lightning!

Starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, Grease follows Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson from their summer fling to the end of their senior year at Rydell High. Iconic dance routines and dialogue included.

There’s no doubt that Grease is a film that weaseled its way into hearts and karaoke bars everywhere, from fancy dress to renditions of Summer Nights, the movie became a phenomenon that has been loved and celebrated for 40 years.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the cult classic, Cafe 1001 is becoming an emporium of 50’s wonder for one night only. Kick off your blue suede shoes, munch on your complimentary popcorn and get ready for an array of Grease inspired music from the fabulous acts gracing the stage throughout the evening.

The night will be kicked off with classic Grease covers, getting everyone in the mood for the rest of the fabulous bands and 50’s movie fun!

Jessica Lovelock

Jessica's music is inspired by the soulful sound of the 60's intertwined with a modern 'wonky' twist, incorporating elements of jazz and neo-soul groove.

Selin

She is currently studying at BIMM LONDON university and has started gigging around venues in London with her bandmates formed at BIMM. Their style consists of some funky and contemporary RnB infused originals with some cool covers
