Aaron Prado & George Prado


Dr. Aaron Ellington Prado began classical piano study at age 7 and added formal jazz study in high school, attending the prestigious Stanford Jazz Workshop where faculty included masters like McCoy Tyner, Art Farmer, and Ray Brown. In May 2014, Prado received a Doctor of Musical Arts with jazz performance specialty from the University of Texas Austin's Butler School of Music.




George Prado has been a bassist, band leader, and educator for more than 40 years in San Antonio. His credits include gigs with Jim Cullum's Jazz Band, Cab Calloway, Eartha Kitt, Mose Allison, Chuck Berry, and Clifford Scott. George's own jazz ensemble, The Regency Jazz Band founded in 1982, has performed at Jazz' SAlive, and the Texas Jazz Festival in Corpus Christi.




Gates open at 6:00pm for each performance.
