Hypnobirthing Course

A complete childbirth preparation programme to leave you feeling calm and confident about your birth. This is a great way to meet other expectant couples in a relaxed and sociable environment. 

I suggest couples attend anytime from around 20 weeks of pregnancy although it is never too late to attend!

Please note this course takes place over TWO Saturdays, 9th and 23rd March. 

What's covered? 

This is a complete antenatal education programme covering everything you need to prepare for the birth of your baby. Based on the curriculum of The Little Birth Company, the content of this course is completely flexible and can be adjusted to meet the needs of each group of participants. Topics covered include: 

* The process of labour and birth
* How the body and the mind work together
* Powerful hypnobirthing techniques
* Breathing exercises
* Deep relaxations
* Visualisations
* Comforting massage techniques
* The role of the birth partner
* Your options and choices for birth
* Routine procedures and making informed decisions
* Coping with the unexpected
* Tips for your first weeks with a newborn
* Getting started with breastfeeding

* The Little Birth Company course manual
* 7 different hypnobirthing MP3s for use before, during & after birth
* A lovely goody bag containing a selection of items for the birth

*Ongoing phone and email support from me as needed
* Coffee mornings with other mums and babies after the course is over

​​Ideally both the mother and her planned birth partner should attend both these sessions. If your birth partner can't be there for any reason please feel free to bring your mum, a friend, or doula.
