Primadonna Prize 2023

The Primadonna Prize fast-tracks an unrepresented and unpublished writer into the publishing industry by offering a prize of a publishing contract and representation by a top literary agent.

There is a runner-up prize of £100 plus an online mentoring session with one of the Primadonnas.

The Prize was established to help open up access to the publishing industry, and is judged anonymously – judges are given no information on the entrants – and without regard to grammar or spelling: a first for a literary prize. The focus is squarely on the talent of the authors.
